Don Juan

This performance is inspired by one of Molière’s most famous works, Don Juan, and explores the idea of “Don Juanism” through various perspectives. The title itself hints at the central theme—an examination of the traits commonly associated with this well-known character. However, Don Juan may not be the obvious lead in the eyes of the audience. His behavior—charming, self-righteous, morally flexible—can unexpectedly appear in different characters throughout the play. The story raises questions: What is right and what is wrong? When are moral boundaries crossed? Here, Don Juan acts as a catalyst, exposing the hidden sides of others—the parts they’d rather not admit. While people often seem to have perfect, well-ordered lives, the “Don Juan effect” is powerful precisely because it so easily shatters that illusion.
